In 1984, nine people were sent out of Liberty Church in Logan  Central to plant a new work in Logan West – which was then the very outskirts of Logan City.

The new work was called “Liberty Fellowship Logan West” and then “The Logan West  Assemblies of God” and met in a hired school hall in the Park Ridge State School. Fast forward 40 years and our congregation has grown into a faith-filled community. We have a Christian College that enrolls children from early childhood to year 12 which now has well over 1000 students and staff. The church is launching a community care centre in 2025! This will see multiple thousands of people on the site of our ministry every week.

The church has wonderful facilities situated on 4 acres of prime land and is debt free! The college has incredible facilities situated and being developed on 40 fantastic acres. What is now known as “Parklands”, has grown from such small beginnings to be an influential ministry in Logan and internationally under God’s faithful hand.

Parklands have become well known for loving and caring for our community, for our Christian faith and worship, and for our overseas missions partnership and for our strong generational and family focus.

We are proud to be part of the Australian Christian Churches which is a movement of over 1000 Pentecostal Churches in Australia with over 400,000 people worshipping together each weekend.
